  • Custom Azure DevOps fields — area path, iteration, story points, tags — map to HubSpot properties through the middleware layer PYB builds for your stack.
  • Status transitions handle the asymmetry cleanly. Engineering closing a bug updates the linked HubSpot ticket, but commercial fields stay locked from the Boards side.
