BIOLUMINESCENT DEEP SEA

VISUAL STYLE: Bioluminescent deep ocean. The world below the light — where every living thing makes its own glow. Blue-black water. Creatures that carry cold fire in their bodies. The most alien environment on Earth, made visible by the organisms that live in permanent darkness.

COLOUR PALETTE: Near-black deep blue as the infinite ground. Electric blue-white for bioluminescent trails and organism glow. Pale green for jellyfish translucency. Deep violet for water depth. Occasional warm amber at the very centre of living light sources. No warm colours except at the origin of a living glow.

CREATURES: Medusa jellyfish — trailing curtains of luminescent tendrils. Schools of organisms leaving light trails as they move.

LIGHT: Self-generated and cold. No sun. No surface. The only light is biological — creatures carrying it, trailing it, pulsing it as communication.

MOVEMENT: Slow drift. Tentacles move with the current. Creatures pulse in their own rhythms. Trails of light hang in the water after movement, fading slowly.

DEPTH: Always implied — things recede into darkness that has no bottom.
