CHALLENGER — PATTERN INTERRUPT — OATLY STYLE
VISUAL STYLE: Challenger brand visual language in the tradition of Oatly, Cards Against Humanity, and Innocent Drinks. Deliberately imperfect. Handwritten where everything else is typeset. Speaking directly where everything else speaks at you.
COLOUR PALETTE: Cream (#F5F0DC) as the dominant background — warm, not clinical. Black (#1A1A1A) for text and primary illustration, with visible hand-drawn weight. Bright accent in a single unexpected colour per sequence — acid yellow (#E8F000), warm orange (#FF5F1F), or vivid teal (#00B4B4). The palette of something printed quickly by people who care more about what they're saying than how it looks.
TYPOGRAPHY: The typography IS the design. Hand-lettered. Wobbly. Text that crosses out itself and rewrites. Text that changes size mid-sentence for emphasis. Text that wanders off the baseline and comes back apologising.
ILLUSTRATION: Simple, fast, warm. Line drawings that look like they were done in ten minutes by someone who draws well but doesn't want you to think they spent too long on it.
VOICE: Direct address. The animation speaks to the viewer as a peer. It admits things. It disagrees with itself. It finds the product/idea simultaneously important and slightly absurd.
No photographs. No corporate polish. No perfect alignment. Warmly dishevelled, genuinely opinionated, and entirely on purpose throughout.
