COLOUR PALETTE: Black (#000000) and white (#FFFFFF) as the dominant system — strong ink work carrying the narrative. Flat spot colour in one accent tone per sequence: deep red (#8B0000), steel blue (#4682B4), or amber (#D4A017). Limited halftone patterning for tonal areas. The palette of newsprint and intention.

PANEL COMPOSITION: Sequences divide into panels of varying size — wide establishing shots beside tight close-ups. The size of the panel communicates the weight of the moment. A full bleed image carries more than a small inset.

INKING STYLE: Heavy brush line for figures and primary elements. Fine line for detail and background. Crosshatching for shadow in dark areas. The line quality is expressive — it carries emotion, not just description.

TYPOGRAPHY: Sound effects as visual elements — letters with the weight and texture of the noise they describe. Caption boxes in the corner of panels. All text integrated into the visual design, not placed on top.
