JAMES WEBB — INFRARED DEEP UNIVERSE VISUAL STYLE

VISUAL STYLE: James Webb Space Telescope imaging aesthetic — deep field infrared photography translated into cinematic motion. The image reveals what the human eye cannot see: galaxies at the edge of observable time, their infrared light shifted into false colour by the telescope's processing.

COLOUR PALETTE: JWST's characteristic false-colour mapping — deep blue-black (#000008) for space. Warm gold and orange (#C9943A, #E8622A) for the most distant redshifted galaxies. Cyan and teal (#00BDA5) for mid-range structures. Bright white-blue (#E8F4FF) for nearby stars with their distinctive six-pointed diffraction spikes. These colours are data, not art — but they are also extraordinary.

DIFFRACTION SPIKES: Every bright star produces six precise spike rays extending outward — a consequence of JWST's hexagonal mirror geometry. These spikes are the visual signature of the instrument. They appear at every point light source.

GALAXY FORMS: At different distances — small smears of colour for the most distant, partial spiral structures for mid-range, fully resolved elliptical and spiral galaxies in the foreground. Each one a different size, a different age.

DEPTH: The image contains thousands of objects at vastly different distances — the frame is a volume of incomprehensible depth, flattened into a single plane. Every direction is simultaneously near and infinitely far.

MOTION: Very slow — almost imperceptible zoom into the deep field, revealing finer and finer detail as the scale increases.

No organic forms. No human reference scale. No sound implied. Only the universe at the limit of what can be seen.
