VISUAL STYLE: Chromesthesia — sound-to-colour synesthesia — made visible. The neurological condition in which sound automatically and involuntarily produces colour experience. COLOUR PALETTE: Synesthetic colour associations are consistent within individuals but vary between them. This visual world uses documented associations: low bass frequencies in deep crimson and burgundy — felt as much as seen, physically heavy, grounding. Mid-range tones in warm amber and gold — the colours of human voice. High frequencies in electric blue and violet — bright, clear, spatially high in the visual field. Percussion in sharp flashes of white and silver. Sustained tones in smooth colour fields; staccato in bright discrete bursts. All colours luminous — they are not reflections but experiences.
