HubSpot custom API integration

Close the disconnected-system, double-entry, and no-connector gaps.

Three integration problems HubSpot solves

Discovery_Illustrations_Color_LightBG

Why does a core system stay disconnected from the CRM?

  • A custom API integration links the bespoke system to HubSpot, so the data each holds flows to the other automatically. The two stop being islands. One change updates both.
  • So when a record changes in either system, the other reflects it without anyone re-entering it. The systems behave as one.
  • A disconnected core system means two versions of the truth. Connecting them leaves one.

Why does staff time go on copying data by hand?

  • With the integration running, data passes between the systems automatically, so the manual copying stops. The same record is maintained once. The hours spent re-keying come back.
  • So when the bespoke system updates a customer, HubSpot already knows, and staff work from one current picture rather than two they keep aligning.
  • Manual copying is slow and error-prone. Removing it removes both the cost and the drift.

Why is the integration assumed impossible?

  • Where no off-the-shelf connector fits, PYB builds the integration directly against the system's API, so a bespoke or legacy platform connects properly rather than being written off. What looked impossible gets delivered.
  • So when the standard apps fall short, the integration still happens, mapped to exactly how the two systems need to behave together.
  • An integration assumed impossible is usually just unbuilt. The bespoke build is what makes it real.

Fantastic HubSpot Experts!!

"We also had to develop API integration with another system, which was done with very minimal stress. If anyone ever asks me for a HubSpot expert, I will recommend Plus Your Business straight away."

FAQs

How long does a custom API integration take?

Most run 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the system's complexity. Weeks 1 to 4 cover architecture: mapping the data, the direction of sync, and the rules each side needs. Weeks 5 to 8 cover the build and testing against the API in a sandbox. Weeks 9 to 12 cover go-live and training, so the team trusts the connected systems.

Can HubSpot integrate with a bespoke or in-house system?

Yes. Where a native app exists, PYB uses it; where one does not, the integration is built directly against the system's API. Custom objects represent the bespoke data inside HubSpot so it sits naturally alongside contacts and deals. PYB has connected legacy and in-house systems that had no standard connector at all.

How do you make a custom integration reliable?

The integration is mapped, built, and tested in a sandbox before go-live, with rules for how each side resolves changes and conflicts. Error handling and logging mean a failed sync is flagged, not silently lost. PYB holds the Custom Integrations Accreditation, the formal proof of a tested, repeatable approach to bespoke builds.

What HubSpot products does a custom integration typically need?

Operations Hub Professional, or Enterprise for programmable automation, to run and govern the sync. Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional depending on what the integration feeds. Custom Objects (Enterprise tier) to represent the bespoke system's data inside HubSpot.

Does a custom integration keep data secure in transit?

HubSpot holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and integrations are built over secure, authenticated connections rather than manual exports. PYB adds its own ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and Custom Integrations Accreditation. For connecting a core business system to the CRM, that is the assurance a data owner needs before the build.
