How long does a data cleanse take?

Most run 4 to 8 weeks. Weeks 1 to 2 cover the audit: profiling the data and finding the duplicates and inconsistencies. Weeks 3 to 5 cover the cleanse: de-duplication, standardisation, and validation. Weeks 6 to 8 cover the hygiene setup: required properties and rules that keep the data clean going forward, plus training.

Can HubSpot keep data clean once it is fixed?

Yes. Required properties, validation, and de-duplication rules keep new entries consistent, so the database does not drift back into the state it was in. Custom properties enforce sector-specific consistency. PYB has cleaned and then maintained CRM data for clients whose reporting had become unreliable.

How do you de-duplicate without losing the right data?

Operations Hub Professional for the de-duplication and data quality tools, with the relevant Hub for where the records sit. Custom Objects (Enterprise tier) only where bespoke records need cleaning too. The work is in the data, not the licences.

Does HubSpot meet the standards for handling our data during a cleanse?
